Finding a library job can be a difficult task. If an individual has a good idea of the tasks that will be required of them in a library job, as well as what the employer will be looking for in an applicant, they will increase their chances of finding library jobs. • The library job market is very competitive. Because of the nature of the work, there are few entry level library jobs that are available. Because of this, many people find that they need to obtain a master’s degree in library sciences to obtain a good library job. Due to the fact that states are cutting funding for libraries, finding a library job is even more difficult than it previously was.
